Free Support Group for Dads

In light of recent, related events, Father and Child Trust are pleased to announce that their Fathers’ Mauri Ora Circle meetings start again tomorrow evening in Onehunga. Since 2009, every Wednesday 7-9pm, fathers have been welcome to gather together and share issues.

Thanks for Saving the Dads Trust!

Father and Child Trust are pleased to announce, they are not closing their Auckland office. Three permanent roles and one in Christchurch were due to end with January. Board Chairman Mark Davies has extended the roles at their current hours until at least 21st March 2014.

Struggling to fund one front line support worker for all of Auckland, The trust has been recognised by key funders, COGS, Blue Sky and Lion Foundation, with personal donations of $500 from two clients, they have been able to keep their door open and even celebrate Xmas with a BBQ.
