Korean Connection

On Tuesday 21st of October the Christchurch office received a visit from a Korean study group consisting of 20 top University professors and government department social welfare people. The two hour knowledge exchange was extremely positive.

Solo Dads needed for Resilience Research

Sharon Yella, a post-grad student at AUT, is interested in learning more about solo fatherhood. As you may know, very little research currently exists on the experiences of single fathers raising their children by themselves. And yet, there is so much to be learned from this group of men.

Visiting or living in Christchurch:

The Deparment of Conservation have created a Nature Play Park based on the Canterbury landscape at 203 Hereford Street. It is very much a hands on park with stepping stones, miniature board walks, a wetland and tussock grass. You can even discover aquatic bugs (which have been set in resin).
