Korean Connection
On Tuesday 21st of October the Christchurch office received a visit from a Korean study group consisting of 20 top University professors and government department social welfare people. The two hour knowledge exchange was extremely positive.
We were most grateful to have two Korean speaking students studying social work at our local polytechnic come along and translate.
They don’t have an equivalent group to Father and Child in Korea and were very keen to learn all they could. They left with a very positive opinion of what we do and an interest to create something similar in Korea. They were particularly interested in the parenting correspondence courses we run, and saw a real opportunity with Anger Management support in Korea.
